The Big Five consists of elephants, Cape buffalo, leopards, rhinos and lions. They are referred to as such because they are widely considered to be the most difficult animals to hunt on foot, though the term has since been adopted by the travel industry to promote safari expeditions.
The world’s second largest continent, Africa is comprised of 54 countries, and many have their own currency specific to their country. For example, South Africa uses the South African rand, Egypt have the Egyptian pound, and Kenya use the Kenyan shilling. Many West African countries use the West African CFA franc, including the Ivory Coast, Mali and Niger, while several Central African countries use the Central African CFA franc, such as Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic.
