Iguazu Falls - The Argentina side Holidays
Holidays to the Iguazú Falls provide an unforgettable experience and memories to be shared eternally between family and friends. One of the planet’s most awe-inspiring sights - an utterly phenomenal spectacle - this is something that can only be truly experienced in person.
The Iguazú Falls span Argentina, Brazil and some parts of Paraguay, and together make up the largest waterfall system in the world. Stretching nearly 3km in distance, with an interlaced chain of 275 separate cascades, it’s not hard to understand why people flock from all over the world to witness this wonder.
So close you can feel it
The Iguazú Falls can be reached from both Brazil and Argentina, with each side offering completely unique vistas (we advise taking a trip to both!). The Argentinian side allows you to get close to the falls, with walkways that take you right into the heart of the thundering Devil’s Throat cascade. One moment you’ll emerge from the jungle at the crest of a giant cascade, the next you’ll appear beneath an impressive drop.
Situated within the extensive and magnificent Iguazú Falls National Park, this is a sight worth visiting in itself. The park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, from howling monkeys and sleek jaguars to tropical plants and birds of every colour. Roam the numerous walking trails through the rainforest; watch tropical butterflies dance through the jungle canopy; ride the tourist train between trails.
We arrange an array of Iguazú holidays - from both Argentina and Brazil - which can either form part of an epic South American multi centre itinerary or a longer trip in Argentina. Get in touch with one of our Destination Specialists so we can tailor make you the adventure of a lifetime.
