Then venture out a little to the iconic sights of Hollywood, where ideas come to mind and stars are born. Take a Universal Studios Tour to learn how the films are made. Then take a ride down the Sunset Strip and see where bands like Led Zepplin made their music, ending up at the Hollywood Bowl to catch an open air concert under the stars.

San Diego

Anyone who enjoys a cold beer on a warm day will love a visit to one of San Diego's 85+ craft breweries. Take a tour of a microbrewery to watch the magic happen, or just savour the end results with a perfectly designed beer-pairing menu, an increasingly popular idea in many restaurants. Combine with freshly caught seafood, alfresco dining and sunset over the waterfront for the perfect evening.

Palm Springs

Palm Spring was once a glam getaway for Hollywood A-listers, where the likes of Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra golfed, wined and dined. With year-round events and glorious weather, it's no surprise that celebrities and other visitors are flocking to Palm Springs to relax and unwind. Ascend to 8,516 feet on the Palm Springs Aerial Tram to Mountain Station and really appreciate the beauty of this city in the desert.
