Take to your game vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger, and venture to the open desert plains or the wilderness of Moremi Wildlife Reserve or Chobe National Park. You'll experience the thrill of seeing large herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as serval, zebra, meerkats and African wild dogs, while you track lions and leopard. Alternatively opt for a water-based safari, by boat or mokoro (a traditional dugout canoe), which allows you to get closer to wildlife than you could by traditional vehicle; drift along peacefully while viewing hippos, crocodiles, elephants, water fowl and other animals that come to drink or wallow in the water.
