Iguazu Waterfalls from Argentina

Wider than Victoria Falls and higher than Niagara Falls, the falls of Iguazu are truly spectacular. They border Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay and can be viewed from the first two. Set in a national park where you can see orchids, toucans and many species of butterfly, a couple of days can easily be spent here admiring the falls, visiting the rainforest or just relaxing by your hotel's pool.

We highly recommend viewing from both countries as they give different persepctives, Argentina is the up close view whilst Brazil is the classic panoramic view.

Meet on arrival at Iguazu Airport and transfer to your hotel for two nights. In the afternoon, enter Iguazu National Park and visit the Argentinean side of the falls. Arrive at the visitor centre then board a gas-propelled train to the upper falls circuit and the stunning Devil's Throat, the most prominent and one of the highest falls. A strategic lookout point rests on the side of these falls. Take the scenic walk along the Iguazu River canyon via the lower circuit and the upper circuit to appreciate the exotic flora and fauna and feel the cataracts up close.
