Cambodia Multicentre

A mix of old and new

Cambodia's Siem Reap is home to the incredible Angkor Archaeological Park, stretching over 400 square kilometres with many impressive temples showcasing Khmer art from the 9th to 14th centuries. The capital city of Phnom Penh is a mix of Asia's past and present, of charm and chaos but one that is totally spellbinding. After exploring the cities of Siem Reap and Phnom Penh take a short flight to the main beach destination, Sihanoukville. Although still offering a fairly laidback pace of life there a number of different beaches on offer with plenty of restaurants, beach stalls and shops to keep you entertained.

Siem Reap

Explore the ancient temples and archaeological sites of Siem Reap. Rise early to see the sun rise behind the staggering Angkor Wat Temple, built in the early 12th Century. The south gate of Angkor Thom Temple is the best restored and most popular and the east gate was used for a scene in the Tomb Raider movie. Visit the night market lit brightly with lantern's and browse the stalls for your Cambodian souvenirs. We recommend a minimum of three nights in Siem Reap to ensure you have time to see all of the key sights

Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh is the bustling capital of Cambodia, located on the banks of the Tonlé Sap Lake and the Mekong River. Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeng Ek Killing Fields are a harrowing reminder of Cambodia's not-so distant past but nevertheless make a worthwhile addition to your itinerary. To ensure you have enough time to see Phnom Penh's attractions we would recommend staying a minimum of three nights.

Complete your stay in Cambodia with five nights in Sihanoukville. To see some of the most beautiful sunsets in the country, go to Independence, Hawaii or Sokha beach for the best vantage points. Visit the fishing harbour on Hun Sen Beach Drive in the evening to watch the fishing boats heading out to sea and for some great photo opportunities. Boat trips are available to Koh Rong and Koh Ta Kiev for a slice of true castaway life.
