Big, bustling and oh-so-cosmopolitan, Toronto is Canada’s east coast gem located on the picturesque shores of Lake Ontario. This chic and vibrant city is utterly contagious; we particularly love Toronto for its mix of gravity-defying skyscrapers, leafy parks and lakeside charm, enough to give Manhattan a run for its money! Boasting over 7000 bars, restaurants and cafés, numerous shopping options as well as hip galleries and eclectic boutiques, Toronto has something to offer every kind of traveller.Toronto is an absolute must for hitting the shops, with some of the best shopping areas in the world, whether it’s the stunning glass gallerias of the Eaton Centre, the trendy boutiques on Queen Street or luxury designer fashions in upscale Yorkville. We recommend our favourite neighbourhood, the vibrant Distillery District, a cluster of stone and red brick buildings that once housed the largest distillery in the British Empire. Today, the 19th-century architecture buzzes with hip restaurants, galleries and boutiques, not to mention the best beer in town.

The perfect accompaniment to the vibrant metropolis of Toronto is the natural splendour of the Niagara Falls, a dizzying spectacle of nature at its most powerful, which never fails to impress by the sheer scale and volume of thundering water. Niagara Falls is mesmerising from any angle, but nothing is more memorable than the view from the foot of this cascading giant. The incredible roar and spray of twenty percent of the world’s water crashing down around you is sure to blow you away. There are many ways to see the falls whether it be the leisurely cruise to the foot of the falls, the 'Journey Behind the Falls’ - a short walk which takes you literally behind the massive wall of water or even a helicopter flight which allows for a breathtaking and completely different perspective of the falls.Or perhaps visit the charming old-word town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, heart-meltingly gorgeous and famous for its location in bountiful wine country. We love spending an afternoon touring local wineries, sampling vintages and taking a few bottles home as a delicious souvenir.
