Very disappointing stay - terrible inconsiderate staff.

Toronto, Canada

I had an extremely disappointing stay here over the past weekend. We were booked into a two bedroom suite and there was a clear lack of amenities upon entrance - looks like everything was rushed. Furthermore, we were uninformed of parking charges by the front desk, and they put it on our bill without any prior acknowledgment from us. Also, they did not recognize any Marriott gold loyalty status benefits - including refusing any kind of later checkout past 11 despite us having someone who was ill. Not even a few minutes. Everything was very robotic and inconsiderate - far from Westin standard.

Excellent Stay at the Mountain

We arrived late on a Saturday night. The front desk person greated us and knew who we were when we walked up (3rd stay at property over 7 years) they'd expected our late arrival and had blocked a wonderful room for us. Valet helped immediatly and gave us cold water as it was very hot. We could not say enough about the staff, from deskfront to food to valet all amazing. I am allergic to feathers and that was actually noted and my pillows were foam. The grounds are easy to navigate and we had a 2 day trip that was relaxing and even though the food was expensive (160 dinner for 3 with 1 glass of wine each for 2 persons teen didn't drink!) We didn't use the kitchen in our suite even thought it was an option. We will go back again.
