Elevator Insomnia

Greensboro, North Carolina

I was placed directly adjacent to the elevators for 2 of 3 sleepless nights, on the third I was moved less proximal, but the hallway noise was so audible I had to place a towel along the base of the door. More Pros than Cons

Pros - excellent check-in staff - room was clean and tidy - mini bar snacks and drink are great - great vibe and convenient location for travel Cons - thin walls means you hear noisy next door guests - large gap in doorway means you hear every guest outside your room - late returning, drunk guests wake you up constantly with loud chat in the hallway This is the main issue. I suggest bringing ear plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper like me.
