The room was pretty small and the attitude of the staff was terrible. The on-site bistro and restaurants are good though. Not as many amenities as you would expect in a five star hotel. I guess it was better before the renovation... I’ve given this hotel three tries.... not sure I’ll stay here again.

Fine hotel, but acid damaged my car in their valet lot

Fairfield, Connecticut

I have no complaints about the hotel itself--but they have only valet parking and while under their care, my car was damaged by some sort of acid that dripped onto the windshield and etched the glass. I noticed the drip when I picked up the car, but it never dawned on my it was actually etched into the glass until I was hundreds of miles away. I suspect a handful of other unlucky folks have had similar experiences there, and I would avoid this hotel--or at least park your car somewhere else.
