Penne d'Agenais, France

It was great to be meet at the kerb by a person who was both friendly and understanding (we are from U.K./France) after a drive from Ottawa. They took our cases delivered to our room, and parked the car. Checkin was quick and efficient, our room was spacious and smelt clean. There is a fridge mini bar (the staff told us we could empty and use, we did) and coffee machine. We did not use the hotel for breakfast too expensive but there is a coffee/patisserie downstairs, recommend it. I used the pool very good, it has full time staff. The checkin staff were excellent in giving info and booking restaurants. We would recommend this hotel as a city centre hotel, close to all the sites/restaurants in Quebec City.

Clean and comfortable.

Port Clinton, Ohio

Our room, again, was on the first floor. One up from a very tall lobby. Although I heard complaints from others in our group about street noise (on St. Jean Batiste Day) we did not experience that problem. The people who complained about the noise were quickly moved to another quieter room. This hotel had a nice breakfast buffet and a fine restaurant attached to it. This hotel is a fine place to stay. My only complaint is that there are 23 steps to get from the front door to the lobby level. The hotel is historically preserved so I suspect this problem will remain.
