Arrive in Vancouver for the first stop of your adventure. Today is the first real day of your journey as you leave beautiful Vancouver behind and head to the mountains. Drive through the Coastal Mountains and Manning Provincial Park where you can stop off for a walk on the Dewdney Trail or Rhododendron Flats before heading onwards to Penticton for the afternoon and stopover. Set in the Okanagan Valley, this town is close to Okanagan Lake, local orchards and vineyards and the 560-acre Okanagan Game Farm.

Today you can spend the morning exploring the beautiful Okanagan Valley before heading onward to Revelstoke, passing waterfalls, peaks and lakes en-route.

Leave Revelstoke behind as you head off once more, through the Glacier National Park and Rogers Pass on your journey to Canada's oldest national park - Banff. Spend you next two nights in Banff and enjoy exploring the area of this spectacular resort. There's the scenic Banff town to explore and plenty of activities to enjoy including a visit to Bow Falls, a trip on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola or a tour on Lake Minnewanka. If you are seeking a touch of luxury, do organize a visit to the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel.

Drive to Jasper via the stunning Icefields Parkway. Perhaps stop at Lake Peyto and the Columbia Icefield along the way before reaching Jasper and the Jasper National Park. Spend your next two days and two nights in Jasper exploring the beautiful natural landscape and making the most of the natural surroundings. Try a ride on the Jasper Tramway, visit Miette Hot Springs and perhaps book a lake tour or nature walk.

Drive through the Yellowhead Pass, passing Mount Robson - the highest peak in the Rockies as you head onwards to 100 Mile House. En-route you drive alongside the Thompson River, skirting the Wells Gray Provincial Park and stopping off at Blue River or Clearwater. 100 Mile House was founded during the Cariboo Gold Rush and is an ideal stop off location between Whistler and Jasper. There's plenty to do here too including nature walks and sporting attractions so your second day and night here can be spent doing as much or as little was you want.

You are back on the road again today. Look forward to a scenic drive south along the Cariboo Highway and Duffey Lake Road before reaching the year-round resort of Whistler, surrounded by soaring mountains and breathtaking landscapes. You can now enjoy two nights in this renowned resort, soaking up the ski atmosphere and maybe partaking in some sporting activities too. There's also Whistler Village for you to explore for shopping and more.

Spend the morning at leisure in Whistler before taking the scenic two-hour drive back to Vancouver where you can complete some last-minute shopping, sample excellent cuisine or experience the nightlife of this vibrant city before heading back to your overnight stop near to Vancouver Airport.
