Upon arrival in Beijing, transfer to your hotel for three nights

After breakfast enjoy a full day of sightseeing including a walk through Tiananmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world where you can see the Great Hall of the people and other historical monuments. You will also visit The Forbidden City, located directly behind the Tiananmen tower gate, where the Ming and Qing Dynasty Emperors and Empresses lived and ruled from 1420 to 1924. After lunch at a local restaurant visit the Summer Palace with an optional boat ride via famous Empress Cixi Water Way to appreciate the beautiful scenery on both sides of the River.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing including the Great Wall at Mutianyu. You will be able to walk and climb or travel by cable car (price not included). After lunch at a local restaurant stop to take a photograph of Bird's Nest and Water Cube where the 2006 Beijing Olympics were held.

After breakfast visit the Temple of Heaven where the Emperors worshipped and prayed during the Ming and Qing Dynasties for a good harvest. After lunch at a local restaurant transfer to the train station for the high-speed train to Xi'an (approximately five and a half hours). Upon arrival in Xi'an transfer to your hotel for two nights.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and their chariots and the Emporer Qinshihuang Mausoleum. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Banpo Neolithic Village, in Xian.  On the way back to your hotel, stop off at the Terra-Cotta Replication factory.

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for two nights.

After breakfast visit Mandarin Yu Garden, an extensive Chinese garden and the bazaar. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit The Shanghai Mansion and take a stroll through the old French Concession. Tianzifang is a trendy new destination where the traditional architectural style Lilong meets modern art galleries and small design shops. 

If you book our group tour you will also enjoy a 45 minute stop at a Pearl Factory after visiting The Bund.
