Next, move south to the international beach resort of Phuket, where you choose how busy or quiet you want to be. Next is Elephant Hills, for an encounter with these gentle giants, before heading to the beautiful paradise of Khao Lak which is all about laid back beach life. This itinerary is suitable for families and couples, bringing together amazing experiences and relaxation in equal measure. Hotels are available for all tastes and budgets so you can stay in a space which suits you best. Maybe you want an iconic hotel in Bangkok such as the statuesque Lebua, or perhaps your preference is more towards small and intimate boutique properties - such as Keemala in Phuket, with just 38 unique villas. The bustling city of Bangkok will not disappoint, from the peaceful temples, to practising your haggling skills at the local markets to treating your taste buds to the sensational street food, Bangkok is so diverse there is something to suit everyone. This itinerary includes 3 nights in Bangkok - plenty of time to see a great selection of what the city has to offer.


After your time in Bangkok, its time to learn a little of the history of the area. Explore the best of Kanchanburi and River Kwai, while staying in unique accommodation. The River Kwai Floathouse is reached only via the river, and offers luxury, safari-style tents which float on the river. With a variety of activities and excursions, this is a great option for visitors who want to know more about the history of this fascinating area. For the next 3 days / 2 nights you will visit the following highlights: Thailand & Burma Railway Centre, War Cemetery, River Kwai Bridge, Hellfire Pass Memorial, Mon Tribal Village, Mon Dance, and Death Railway Train.


In contrast to the night before, return to Bangkok for one night before continuing your adventure.


Long, lazy days spent relaxing on stunning, palm-fringed beaches awaits; Phuket is paradise on earth, as colourful as it is cosmopolitan. There’s plenty to explore; from the Similan Islands, counted among the 10 most interesting dive areas in the world, to the famous James Bond island in Phang Nga Bay and Patong’s exciting nightlife on Bangla Road. Phuket offers the perfect destination for some winter sun and a spot of culture. Venture to the shimmering temples, visit colonial mansions and even see elephants coming down to the waterfront to cool off in the waves.

Khao Sok

The next part of this contrasting itinerary takes you to the verdent jungle surrounding Khao Sok. For the ultimate wildlife adventure, you will stay at Elephant Hills in Khao Sok's famous National Park. Feel the mist of the rainforest as you stand next to soaring limestone cliffs broken by rushing, tumbling waterfalls. Hike the trails following the river to serene, island-studded lakes and listen to the sounds of nature calling around you. As well as the rainforest, you can meet the majestic Asian elephants in a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and take a relaxing canoe or kayak trip down the Sok River for a spot of birdwatching.

A great way to see the traditional way of life in Thailand

On the way to Takua Pa, make a short stop at a fresh market Have the opportunity to offer food to the monks and visit a Thai school. Walk to the old part of the town with the local guide and see the almost 200 year old houses, built in the traditional style of that period.

Floating market Bangkok


Floating Market

Visit  the world famous floating market of "Damnern Saduak". The colourfully clad merchants at these lively markets paddle along congested canals in sturdy canoes laden with fresh fruits and vegetables to sell to shoppers on the banks. There is a lot of chatter and activity - bargaining is common. You visit the lively market at its best early in the morning, before the crowds arrive and the day's heat breaks.

Phi Phi Island by Speed boat

Visit Maya Beach (known famously as the location of film ‘The Beach’) Monkey beach and Viking Cave. There are speedboat tours available from 7:00am that will allow you to take in the dramatic marine scenery of limestone karsts rising from emerald waters. On land there’s plenty of opportunity for snorkelling and swimming at Pileh lagoon.
