Upon arrival in Cuzco, transfer to your hotel. During the afternoon enjoy a 4 hour city tour combining nearby ruins including Korikancha - the ancient temple of the sun, the cathedral and the archaeological remains from Inca times located nearby Kenqo, Saqsaywaman, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.

Transfer from hotel to Poroy train station to begin your journey to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the marvellous citadel, visiting the main plaza, the royal quarters, Temple of Three Windows, the circular tower, the sacred sun dial and the burial grounds. Stay overnight at the Casa Del Sol Boutique Hotel. Guided Machu Picchu tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

Your morning will be at leisure before your afternoon train back to Cuzco where you will be transferred back to your hotel.
