Points of Interest

We offer a wide selection of group and private tours around Northern India. Alternatively, our Destination Specialists can tailormake any itinerary for you with your own private driver and guide. We would definitely recommend at least five nights exploring the Golden Triangle on our India's Golden Triangle Private Tour and if time permits, extend your tour with a visit to the state of Rajasthan famous for its elaborate palaces and forts.

Depart on the start of your tour. Delhi is a city of two halves. Wander through Old Delhi, once known as Shahjahanabad – the walled city built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1639 – and you’ll discover a maze of twisting back-alleys, glittering ancient bazaars, and street markets that crowd every square inch of pavement.

The city of Agra is synonymous with the Taj Mahal, and it’s a well-deserved legacy. The iconic, white-marble mausoleum sits on the banks of Agra’s Yamuna River, and it’s one of the seven wonders of the modern world, the highlight of any Golden Triangle tour, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Jaipur is the largest city in the state of Rajasthan, as well as the state’s capital. The city’s cultural prominence and charming character has resulted in it being one of the three destinations that make up India’s Golden Triangle.

On the border of the Thar Desert, this beautiful city features one of the most sacred Hindu sites, Pushkar Lake.

India's Desert City and home to the elaborate palace Mehrangarh Fort. Once a strategic defence post, Jodhpur is now a metropolitan city which boast some of the best and most distinctive architecture in India. It is clear why it is now known as The Blue City, the reason for this is simply because the deep blue paint keeps the houses cool on the inside throughout the scorching summer months!

Stretching three miles across, it’s framed by distant green hills and pearl-white Rajput-era palaces that peer over the water’s edge. The City Palace is the largest in all of Rajasthan, and made up of some 12 intricate structures painstakingly built over a period of 400 years.

Back in the capital for your last night before heading to Sri Lanka tomorrow.

On arrival, start your tour from Colombo and head to Kandy. Sri Lanka’s cultural capital sits in the heart of the island, nestled in the hills on the riverside of the Mahaweli Ganga.

Nuwara Eliya

Take a train journey from Kandy and admire the stunning scenery of the rolling hills and tea plantations as you trundle upwards towards Nuwara Eliya. Enjoy a couple of days of relaxation after the hustle and bustle of Kandy, and explore one of Sri Lanka’s national parks.

Enjoy a relaxing stay on the golden beaches of the west coast before heading back home.
