Tours in the Indian Subcontinent

Comprising of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the Indian Subcontinent is defined by a wealth of cultural diversity, vibrant landscapes and traditions dating back centuries. A feast for the senses, you’ll discover labyrinthian bazaars, sacred monuments, bustling cities and rugged mountain ranges. Sample a host of flavourful cuisine and observe lively, colourful festivals of traditional song and dance.

As part of our 10-day India’s Golden Triangle tour, you’ll first wander the streets of Delhi, admiring the 17th century bastions and turrets of the octagonal Red Fort, the white marble minarets of the Jama Masjid mosque, and the artistry of the ornate Lotus Temple. Witness the splendour of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and its manicured gardens, before venturing on to Agra – home of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Embark on a thrilling 4x4 safari drive through the expansive plains, thriving marshes and dense woodlands of Ranthambore National Park in search of tigers, sloth bears, crocodiles and deer. Tour the ancient ‘pink city’ of Jaipur, learning of its fascinating history as you explore its red and pink honeycomb Hawa Mahal palace, before completing your Indian adventure with a visit to the Jantar Mantar – the world’s largest stone and marble observatory.

Alternatively, swap the frenetic energy of Delhi’s streets for the serene, holy temples of Nepal on our Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal tour. Observe the majesty of the Pashupatinath Temple and its plethora of inscriptions, Hindu sculptures and adornments, before gazing up at the one of the world’s tallest stupas (a dome-like structure for prayer and worship) – the Boudhanath Stupa. Take in spectacular vistas of Kathmandu from the Swayambhunath Monkey Temple, as your trip culminates with a jungle safari through the Royal Chitwan National Park, in search of leopards, tigers and the one-horned rhinoceros.
