Upgrade to the Majestic Wing and enjoy its restored neo-classical details and luxurious extra amenities. All rooms are uniquely and elegantly furnished and spacious and come with complimentary WiFi.

The hotel’s annex houses The Smoke House which embodies the delicious decadence of the 1930s; featuring a lounge and bar, card and cigar rooms, a small private cinema showcasing classic black and white movies from the ‘30s onwards, a bespoke tailor and a traditional old-fashioned barber.

Conveniently located near many of the city's attractions, shopping malls, bars and restaurants and a few minutes’ walk to the train station, it is a great location from which to explore the city.

The swimming pool is a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Alternatively  the selection of bars and restaurants are just as unique offering cocktails and dishes to compliment the elegance of the hotel.

Colonial Suite Majestic Wing

Step back in time where colonial charm endures in the present when you step into the Colonial Suite. These rooms are located in the Majestic Wing, the original historic hotel building. Timber floors are overlaid with tufted carpets in warm colours and luxurious art deco furnishings feature throughout. The black and white chequered tiled bathrooms feature claw-footed bathtubs and separate showers.

All Majestic Wing suites are provided with 24 hour butler service, complimentary minibar and laundry service (excluding dry cleaning), a continental breakfast served to your room and a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from the hotel to anywhere within the Kuala Lumpur city centre.

The Bar

The Bar is a central focus in the Majestic Wing with dark panels, mirrors and brass, and where you can enjoy a Stengah, Gin Pahit or Sling just like the planters of old. The gold-leafed domed ceiling is an original feature of the historic hotel.

Tea Lounge

The elegant Tea Lounge in the Majestic Wing is open to the breezes off the lawn fronting the hotel. The old-fashioned grid ceilings feature classic cut-glass lighting with antique brass fittings. Cosy arrays of comfortable arm chairs with subdued lighting from table lamps provide the perfect setting for English Afternoon Tea with a Malaysian twist.

The Smoke House

The Smoke House is an elegant private dining room which comes with your own personal Chef, who will work together with you to create the perfect menu for a table of ten guests. Contango

Located in the Tower Wing, Contango is a luxuriously designed contemporary restaurant featuring an open kitchen interactive dining concept with a seating capacity for 250 people. The cuisine, freshly prepared to order, ranges from Western with a pizza oven and Churassco Grill to Chinese, Japanese, Malay and Thai.

The Colonial Café

The Colonial Café offers authentic classical cuisine from the colonial era. Plush red leather chairs, crisply starched white tablecloths and timber paneling reinforce the colonial feel. Located in the Majestic Wing, it seats 120 both indoors as well as in outdoor covered courtyards.
