Trip highlights

  • Skyscrapers and sightseeing in Kuala Lumpur
  • Short flight to Penang

To fully experience this vast and diverse city we would recommend at least 3 days in Kuala Lumpur at the start of this great combination of city, beach and culture multi centre. Stay at the Traders Hotel, for amazing unobstructed views of the Petronas Towers by day or night. This hotel is centrally located which makes it a great base for sightseeing and shopping.

We love testing Penang's reputation as Malaysia's food capital, by eating our way through the local Nonya cuisine, a lip-smacking blend of Chinese and Malay styles. Penang is also well known for it's cultural sights, sandy beaches, colonial Georgetown and colourful night markets. It is great for those who want to explore what this fantastic island has to offer.
