Kuala Lumpur, Borneo and Penang Multi Centre

Kuala Lumpur is an ever-changing city, from the soaring skyscrapers to the colonial buildings, exotic temples and ornate Mosques, this diverse city is great way to start fabulous city, beach and cultural combination. From Kuala Lumpur take the short flight to Borneo, where lush rainforests are home to some of the most varied wildlife on the planet, but none of them capture the imagination like those 'wild men of Borneo', the flame-haired orang-utans. Penang is well known as the food capital of Malaysia, with its sizzling woks and various food markets it’s a real fight of the senses. An absolute must when in Penang is a visit to Georgetown. The people, the food, the architectural heritage and cultures bear witness to the transformation of Penang to what it is today... A Heritage Jewel.

To fully experience this vast and diverse city we would recommend at least 3 days in Kuala Lumpur at the start of this great combination of city, beach and culture multicentre. Stay at the Traders Hotel, for amazing unobstructed views of the Petronas Towers by day or night. This hotel is centrally located which makes it a great base for sightseeing and shopping.

Borneo is home to lush rainforests and some of the most varied wildlife on the planet. Borneo is said to be the nature lovers' day dream, with diverse wildlife, endangered species and breath taking beaches it's easy to see why. Stay seven nights at the Shangri - La's Rasa Ria Resort and Spa with their own Nature Reserve and Orang-utan rehabilitation centre and a long stretch of secluded beach, you will not be disappointed.

We love testing Penang's reputation as Malaysia's food capital, by eating our way through the local Nonya cuisine, a lip-smacking blend of Chinese and Malay styles. Penang is also well known for its cultural sights, sandy beaches, colonial Georgetown and colourful night markets. It is great for those who want to explore what this fantastic island has to offer. You could easily spend 4 days here and leave wanting to come back for more.
