The best way to start your Philippines adventure is in the bustling capital Manila, which you can reach by direct flight from London Heathrow. We suggest spending two nights here to allow you ample time to explore the historic walled city Intramuros, Rizal Park, Chinatown and of course the many malls if shopping is on your agenda.

Next stop is the amazing scenery of the 2,000 year old rice terraces at Banaue. Depart by road from Manila climbing over 1,300 metres above sea level. This part of the Philippines offers incredible natural scenery, local villages and markets just waiting to be explored. Ride a local jeepney to a native village and learn more about how the villagers live and if weather permits, visit the famous Ifugao burial caves in Sagada. Our four night Highlights of the North tour covers all of this and more and you can choose between weekly group or daily private departures.

After your northern adventure you will be ready to head back south to Manila by road and onwards by short flight to the island of Palawan. We suggest spending two or three nights on the mainland so that you can explore the UNESCO World Heritage Underground River near Puerto Princesa. Take a canoe ride through the caves on the longest underground river in the world. Finally head to one of the El Nido Private Island Resorts to relax, unwind and reflect on your amazing Philippines adventure.
