A spectacular resort with bountiful amenities

The villas are spacious with wonderful bathrooms. The views overlooking the water to the nearby islands define paradise. If you are seeking indulgent privacy we highly recommend a pool villa. The staff are uniformally friendly. Special shout out to our pool man Pak. Take advantage of the complimentary tour to the islands and lagoons. They depart early and late to avoid the masses of day trippers from El Nido. We really enjoyed our extensive talk with our guide, Jimboy. As others have mentioned the food is a bit uneven. Some dishes are delicious, such as the goat cheese ravioli and beef carpaccio others are head scratchers like the chef's salad with virtually nothing but lettuce. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.

I enjoyed the trip because of my friends.

Surra

I was told this was the second best hotel in the Philippines after the Aman. As soon as we checked in, I knew it wasn't. They claim that they are an “eco luxury” hotel but they use paper napkins in their restaurants.   We booked 2 beach villas and the only 2 beach villas we got were the ones that had rocks on the beach, that forced us to swim in the other beach area, which was in front of the main swimming pool. Not to mention that the beach beds didn’t even have cushions; we had to sit on the wood/bamboo material of the beds. Also, there was no service at the beach - which made us walk all the way to the beach bar near the pool. Thus, from experience, this not a 5 star hotel. They definitely need to send their management to the six senses or the soneva chains which is true eco luxury.  The first night we had dinner at the pool restaurant and it was literally the worst food I had in my life (the burger was over-cooked and the fries was fried in coconut oil). The next day we went to breakfast and the breakfast area smelled bad. We had to sit outdoors to avoid the smell although it was windy. The breakfast variaty is the same every day with limited healthy options so we had eggs daily. They need to work on their ventilation at the breakfast area as it stunk inside. We also booked a 2-day private island hopping tour but when we went to snorkel they didn't even provide us with fins. They  only had them available for the guide. They even charged us for water bottles whereas in other boat trips we had at Seychelles or Maldives the water was complimentary. At the end, we complained about our 2 villas being in front of the rocks that didn’t have beach access. The manager Heidi didn't handle it well, her response was “we are sorry”. She could have given us anything complimentary, even if it was a bottle of water.. at least that would’ve made us felt like she cared. We stayed for 5 days and we never saw her go on duty to check on the service at the beach or pool. She was always hanging around in the reception area.  In conclusion I had a good time because I was traveling with my friends and the staff were great. Special THANK you to Jeff @ the pool, Henry @ the beach bar, raul the guide, Randy the amazing singer, Shaz @ the breakfast area. The girls @ the activity centerm. They made our trip special. Suggestions for the hotel. 1. Provide hangers in toilettes near the pool and the main beach for cover ups and swim suits for females. 2. Change their heed chef. 3. Send their resort manager to eco luxury hotels for her to see the difference. 4. Have themed dinners( i.e BBQ night, Indian night) as we were there for 5 days and were bored of having the same food daily.  5. Electronic billing systems as they still use hand written paper bills. ( I was charged with a motor boat trip and I had pre paid it prior to my arrival) 6. They should have oats and healthy options for breakfast.  7. Improve their beach service, at least provide sunbeds with cushions.
