Singapore and the Philippines Multi Centre

Cosmopolitan city and blissful beaches

Singapore is without a doubt one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. With its ultra-modern streets, colonial monuments and nearby Sentosa - home to Universal Studios, this glistening city has it all. After a busy few days in the city, take a short flight to Cebu where you can embark on an optional tour of the city to see Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro and Taoist Temple. The beaches in Mactan are man-made but are no less beautiful and there are plenty of fish swimming just off the shore. Another short flight takes you to the beautiful tiny island of Boracay, which has a postcard-perfect stretch of soft, white sandy beach lined with hotels, bars, restaurants and dive shops.

Our Experts Recommend:

Most of the hotels in Cebu are located on Mactan Island, accessed by a bridge from the main island of Cebu. Although the beaches here are man-made they are no less beautiful with plenty of fish swimming just off the shore. The nearby islands offer amazing snorkelling opportunities, or why not arrange locally a trip to Oslob on the south of the island where you can take a small boat out to swim with whale sharks, an experience not to be missed!

  • Luxury hotels of Mactan Island
  • Taoist Temple

This tiny island has plenty to offer with two amazing powder-soft white sand beaches, some good dive sites nearby and plenty of restaurants and bars. White Beach is the main area and is split in to three areas, Station 1 is where the majority of the luxury accommodation can be found and has a more peaceful atmosphere, yet still within easy each of restaurants and bars. Station 2 is the main hub and bustling with restaurants, bars, and watersports. Station 3 has more basic accommodation popular with backpackers.
