Tours in Cape Town

Set beneath imposing mountains and bordered by stunning beaches and ancient forests, Cape Town boasts a plethora of accolades regarding it as the ‘world’s best city’.

As part of our seven-day Cape, Whales and Winelands tour, you’ll enjoy breath-taking panoramas of South Africa’s Mother City as you ascend through the clouds to the soaring Table Mountain aboard a cable car. Stroll the charming cobbled streets of the Bo-Kaap district – admiring its vibrant coloured houses and European-inspired architecture – before visiting the fascinating Iziko Museum of South Africa –  immersing yourself in the country’s past and examining fossils dating back 250 million years. Explore the historic pentagonal fortress of the Castle of Good Hope, built in 1679, then take a relaxing walk along the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront; home to boutique shopping, fine dining and the Two Oceans Aquarium, wind down and sip on a Cape Snow cocktail (spiced liqueur, brandy and ice cream) as the sun sets over the harbour, as you watch the fisherman bring home their day’s catch.

Travelling along the scenic Atlantic Seaboard, you’ll take in jaw-dropping vistas of rugged coastlines, expansive bays and turquoise waters. Stop off at the white sands of Clifton and gaze up at the mighty Twelve Apostles mountain range over Camps Bay. Spot turacos, hornbills, marmosets and meercats at Hout Bay’s World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary, before wandering through quaint Simon’s Town and observing the local penguin colony cooling off in the waters off Boulder Beach.
