Suggested Accommodation

  • Arusha Coffee Lodge
Tarangire National Park

This morning there’s time for a good breakfast and a full briefing on your SkySafari tour. After an al fresco lunch in the gardens of the lodge, you’ll be chauffeured back to Arusha for your first connecting flight to the Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire National Park.

Once there, the Tarangire Treetops team will take you on an afternoon game drive around the reserve, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot the many resident wild elephants and other exotic game until sunset. Tarangire is famous for its baobab trees, elephant migration patterns and diverse birdlife, and boasts a huge concentration of exotic game during peak months. If you’re really lucky, you may even get the chance to spot the elusive oryx - a beautiful antelope species native to this part of East Africa.

On your return to the lodge, you’ll have an unforgettable experience staying two nights in your own personal treehouse.

Your second day at Tarangire National Park is packed with fantastic activities, including a visit to a nearby Maasai village, a game walk, and a magnificent sundowner in the bush. But that’s not all. That evening, our expert guides will take you on a nighttime game drive, giving you a unique chance to see another side of the reserve. This really is a mesmerising experience, particularly spotting unusual creatures around the swamplands of Tarangire that only make an appearance when the sun goes down.

There’ll be time for breakfast before heading out for your morning game drive around the park where you can spot herds of buffalo, elephant and wildebeest. After a picnic lunch in the park, head back to the Kuro Airstrip for your connecting flight to Manyara for another fascinating Tanzania fly drive safari.

Having landed at Manyara, you’ll check into The Manor at Ngorongoro – a beautiful five-star lodge set on a 600 acre coffee estate. Our team will be there to greet you with a spot of afternoon tea before showing you to your own private cottage, which will be your home for the next two nights.

Suggested Accommodation

  • The Manor
Ngorongoro Zebras

The Ngorongoro Crater offers incredible views of the surrounding landscape and a diverse range of grazing wildlife. Spend a full day exploring the area today, stopping for a picnic hamper lunch in the heart of the reserve before heading back to The Manor in the late afternoon.

There are few other reserves where you’re able to witness seven or eight completely different species of wildlife living harmoniously next to one another - this is a breath-taking image. The conservation efforts made by Ngorongoro are second-to-none and provide a source of inspiration for anybody interested in preserving the beauty of the natural world. After a long day spent exploring the trails, it’s time for a delicious evening meal and a few well-deserved cocktails before bedtime.

On day six, you have an interesting choice to make. The first option is a morning drive over to Lake Manyara National Park, which was named for the huge watering hole that attracts all manner of wildlife to its shores, a great place for game spotting. However, you may wish to spend a relaxing day at The Lodge instead, taking the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll, bicycle ride or horseback ride (for an additional cost) around the estate. There are also onsite massage and spa treatments available.

Whichever option you choose, following lunch it’s time to head over to Manyara Airstrip for your next flight to the Serengeti, where you’ll stay at either Pioneer Camp or Migration Camp – a choice that will be made prior to your arrival in Tanzania. Both camps offer first-class accommodation in a luxury safari tent, so the choice will ultimately depend on which camp offers the best game viewing opportunities at that particular time of year. Usually, Pioneer Camp is the better option between January – May,  and Migration Camp is best between June – December.

Suggested Accommodation

  • Serengeti Migration Camp or Serengeti Pioneer Camp

Having spent a comfortable night at your camp, you’ll head straight out for a morning drive exploring the vast grasslands of Serengeti National Park to spot Big Five game: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. If you are lucky, there’s also a good chance of witnessing the Great Migration in full flow. This spectacular event of herds of wildebeest is so unique you may only see it once in your lifetime.

With its spectacular landscapes and resilient population of diverse wildlife, it’s easy to see why the Serengeti quickly gained status as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The park is renowned for its local community initiatives, creating incentives for the surrounding population to engage in the upkeep and maintenance of the reserve.

After a hard day’s exploration, it’s back to the camp in the late afternoon, just in time for sundowners and a beautiful evening meal.

Suggested Accommodation

  • Serengeti Migration Camp or Serengeti Pioneer Camp

After an unforgettable week spent discovering Tanzania in the lap of luxury, you may decide to take things easy for your final morning in the Serengeti. Residents of Pioneer Camp will have chance to enjoy a renowned sunrise at leisure, whereas we recommend a morning game walk for those staying at Migration Camp.

Lunch will be served at both camps before heading out for a final game drive on the way back to the Manyara Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. One of our guides will be there to greet you and arrange a chauffeur back to Kilimanjaro International Airport in plenty of time for your departing flight.
