Hua Hin – Things to do

Hua Hin Attractions

Whether travelling as a family, couple or flying solo – Hua Hin is much more than just a beach destination – there really is something for everyone. The latest trend in the area is for kite boarding. The beaches in Hua Hin are long and broad – perfect for this activity. There is a flourishing art scene here, and we would recommend a visit to the Baan Sillapin Artists Village if looking for a unique souvenir. The night market in Hua Hin is a particularly good one – open each evening from 6pm- 11pm. For families – there is a choice of exciting waterparks in the area – The Black Mountain Water Park being the most popular. It’s really easy to get to, just fifteen minutes away from the centre of Hua Hin. And if you are looking for something a little different – The Hua Hin Hill Vineyard offers tours and tasting, and produces the delicious Monsoon Valley wine.

Golf Course

Golf

Hua Hin has been regarded as one of the best golfing locations in Thailand for many years. There are 8 top quality courses all within a 30 minute drive of the town centre. There are others located slightly further afield, but are still reachable easily enough for a day's play. Probably the most famous one is Springfield Royal Country Club which has been the venue for many major championships, including The Thai Open. The best time for playing golf in Hua Hin is between November and February, which is known as the cool season.
