Unspoilt nature
Deserted sands, crystal clear waters and lush jungle life; we love Khao Lak for its untouched beauty. With miles and miles of astonishing beaches, it offers hideaway bliss at its best.
Be at one with Mother Nature and take a refreshing dip in the waters beneath the waterfall at Chong Fa, or spend time at nearby Elephant Hills for a few days away from the beach to meet the giants of the animal world. If you’re keen to soak up some culture during your Thailand trip, why not rub shoulders with the locals and practice your bartering skills at the Bang Niang night market?
If you’re visiting Khao Lak after a busy city break, perhaps in nearby Bangkok, its luxury landscapes and stunning vistas are sure to offer the perfect contrast. A holiday in Khao Lak is like being tucked away into your own corner of paradise.

Top Tips from our Experts

Karen
Destination Executive
"My favourite place to spend an afternoon in Khao Lak is Memories Bar. It’s at the northern end of Khuk Khak beach (September – April). It’s a lively spot with great food and lots of leisure activities such as volleyball, surfing – even Thai cooking classes. After the sun goes down, dancing and fire shows on the beach commence. Great fun – and all ages welcome."

"I would recommend leaving the beach behind you one day, and take a hike to one of the many waterfalls close to Khao Lak. It may be hot, but the swim under the waterfall is a fantastic reward".

Nick
Senior Destination Manager
"Its worth spending a few hours at Bang Niang Market for some lunch and shopping. There's authentic Thai street food alongside the usual market stalls, all within the chaotic and fun atmosphere that is typical of local markets in Thailand."
