Outstanding in every sense

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

What an exceptional hotel that creates an unforgettable experience. The villas and private Swimming pool are exquisite with stunning views of the desert. We had gazelle coming to our villa morning and evening. Really enchanting. Food and service was amazing and the tea looked after us so well. Really genuine hospitality. Mansour was great and the guide on our desert drive

Cork, Ireland

I returned to the Al Maha for a six night stay with my wife to celebrate her birthday and again was delighted to see that the property is just as good it was on my previous visit. There have been some slight updates to the suites which I noticed and if and when anything goes wrong you can be assured a staff member will happily deal with it immediately. I found the Al Maha went above and beyond accommodating my arrival and departure needs as they have before and while we didn’t do any activities due to experiencing them all before we had the most wonderful time and plan on returning again twice in 2019 and for many more years if things continue to be as they are. The only very small negative I could mention which I addressed to the property was the slight downgrade in food and also if staying for a longer period you can grow tired of the same menu if returning also several times a year but I’m told this is being worked on. I know reading previously many venting about the recent issue with points stays but I do believe this was due to a system changeover with Marriott and perhaps a renegotiation between the property and Marriott. I believe it’s all been sorted now and as was before with full board and two activities while on a points stay. I only hope this doesn’t effect the food offering however I have faith in the great F&B team there. Well worth a visit and a truly special place to take a breath and enjoy some private time. The best recommendation is to say you’ll be going back and I’ve two stays booked, so if in doubt about this property don’t be. It’s a little paradise on earth to take a breath and unwind.
