Iconic sights

Walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame and see more than 2000 stars embedded in quite possibly the most famous pavement in the world, step onto the red carpet and take a 30 minute VIP tour at the TCL Chinese Theatre and snap away at the iconic Hollywood sign. Interestingly, this sign was originally an advertisement for real estate back in 1923 and read HOLLYWOODLAND until the 70s when Hugh Hefner lead a restoration project to restore the sign. For a close up, head to the hiking trail that begins at the Griffith Observatory or get incredible views from above in a helicopter.

Griffith Park

Griffith Park and Observatory

For some of the best views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean, visit this free landmark on the southern slopes of Mount Hollywood. Hike from here into the Hollywood Hills to get up close to the iconic Hollywood Sign and stay to watch the sunset where you will see day turn to night and the city lights fill the sky. The Observatory is one of L.A's most famous movie locations and a national leader in public astronomy.
