Good Hotel in a Good Location but watch out for the extras

Devon, United Kingdom

This hotel is set in lovely grounds and a good location for San Diego Bay the Zoo and Sea World. Individual Parking spaces are allocated to each room but the 24 hour rate is very high if you are staying for a few days, Resort fees were not optional and you pay them regardless of the facilities used and the list of facilities it covers in minimal versus what's on offer. Standard things like internet access and use of the pool is in the resort fee. For a weekend getaway in a great setting the hotel is ideal. If you intend to use the hotel as a base to explore San Diego it is well situated but the additional costs for services you are unlikely to use make a reasonably priced hotel expensive once you pay the final bill at checkout.
