Superb Experience

Saint Paul, Minnesota

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton thoroughly. The hotel spaces are beautiful, the location is within walking distance of some great food. The staff was extremely considerate and helpful, particularly a gentleman with a memorable and unusual name, Doy Gildart who helped me enroll in a beneficial points program Hilton Plus. Overall it was a great experience and accommodations during the conference was home away from home. Plenty of nooks to slip into and get some work done and/or lots of social spaces.

They nickel and dime you

Washington, Texas

The hotel is very pretty, the people were very nice, the rooms do not match up to the price tag. When I booked this we booked through the fabtech rates, however the hilton honors representive explained for just $10.00 more per room you can upgrade to queen beds. I upgraded our two rooms and did the check in online for the room confirmation number with our name on it. Our employee showed up first, they gave him our room, which I did not know was a higher upgrade, we ended up paying for another upgrade for our room as well. Our employee said his room was extremely noisy because of the trains, which ended up being on the executive floor If you are Not a hilton honors silver or higher member you have to pay to use their workout room. If you have them hold your luggage to attend meetings on your last day you are there, you are charged for that as well. You would think a hotel of this caliber would not have to find a way to nickel and dime everything.
