Stylish hotel in great location

Built in 1927 with over 1500 guest rooms, this is the third largest hotel in the city. The hotel has been meticulously redesigned and restored preserving the magnificence of the 20th Century, whilst preserving all of the conveniences of the 21st Century that guests would expect.  This highly central location and just a short walk to Grant park, easy access to the museums, lake front and parks. Beautiful view

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

The Hilton is beautiful. The room was a little dated. We stayed in a large room, believe the gentlemen at the desk said it was a parlor. We were on the 14th floor overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan. You can also see Navy Pier and the Buckingham Fountain from our room. The room was filled with furniture! A little too much if you ask me. You had to move furniture around to pull the Murphy bed down. I was unaware our room would have a Murphy bed. However, it was very comfortable. The bathroom was small and the lighting was dark. Bathroom amenities were nice. Not a large bathroom counter for the ladies nor a vanity. Elevators were fast. Taxis are always outside and Ubers show up in a minute or two. A little too far from the river and downtown restaurants for me. But far enough away if that is your thing. We did not eat at any restaurant in the hotel only because there are so many wonderful places in Chicago to go to. Sunny, the concierge, was super friendly and helpful.

Staying for Salesforce Connections

San Diego, California

I think this hotel is great. It’s a beautiful historic hotel perfectly located on Michigan Avenue and close to everything. I was attending a conference at McCormick and it was very convenient to get there by Uber / Lift. The check in process was flawless and the staff was very professional. I asked for a better room than the standard one offered and got a very good upgrade for a nominal additional daily fee. The room I was given on a high floor away from any noise overlooked the park. The room was very large, super clean and with a large bathroom fully stocked. Internet Wi-Fi access worked great and was fast and free. Now I was made aware that the gym had a $15 fee per day which is pretty inconsistent with most Hilton properties I have stayed in in the past considering I also have status. I texted the Hilton after they sent me a welcome text and expressed my concern. Without any argument they waived the fee based on my own personal situation. I can see why they are charging for the gym though because it is simply amazing: large pool, ton of fitness and new equipment and also it has a pretty big track for running. Maybe the Hilton should be more explicit and indicate that the Gym is a ‘premium’ club or simply wave the fee for all; let’s be honest the vast majority of quality 4-5 stars hotels do not charge for gym fees, a welcome bottle of water in room and Wi-Fi however few have an amazing gym like this one. Service, food etc. Was good. The property does need some updating though: fresh paint and new carpets would do it wonders but I am being neat picky. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property for any type of traveler
