Bracknell, United Kingdom

Honestly we cannot fault our stay here my family and myself had the most amazing holiday.i would highly recommend this hotel. We found the location to be perfect as it’s the quieter end of international drive not far from the Vineland outlet mall. We had a 2 bed villa in building 10 which is close to all the amenities which had everything you needed washer dryer ironing board fridge freezer kettle cooker the full works Room was bigger than our house at home. Staff are all really friendly. We got a $130 credit when we Arrived to spend in the restaurant if we agreed to do our own housekeeping. Swimming pools were really good and always plenty of beds try poolside bars were expensive. There are 3 gyms on site but I found the one near the pirate ship pool to be the best which was further away from our building but plenty of space and good equipment. There is a Publix walking distance from the hotel but a bit far to walk with lots of shopping the shop in the hotel is very expensive I went in on the first day and got a box of cereal some water and milk and was $20. We was using lyft/Uber to get around and was around $15 to get to Disney which was about 8 miles away.

Bed Bugs

I didn’t want to make this public, but when a hotel ignores a serious issue and treats customers like they don’t matter, well, the gloves come off. The resort was satisfactory, and other than the sales pitch upon arrival, the couple nights there were seemingly uneventful. There was a slight communication gaffe, but it wasn’t the end of the world. The discovery of a bed bug issue, however, is indeed a big one. My daughter has a slew of bites that began affecting her a day after arriving. We saw an insect, but having never known about bed bugs, we assumed it was just a random insect. The bites continued. She has welts and horrible itching. We spent the week in Florida at different locations and figured she was dealing with hives. It got to a point where she needed to seek medical attention. Bed bugs were an easy diagnosis. I immediately called the resort and the front desk attendant, after a little back and forth conversation, transferred me to security. Nobody answered the phone, but I got a machine. I left a calm, detailed message and asked for an immediate call back. After nine hours passed by, I called again. I spoke with front desk. She put me on hold, and after a while I was disconnected. I called back and spoke with a woman who tried to help. She attempted to get help to no avail. She had me on hold for quite some time, but she was trying. When she returned, she told me she felt bad about the long wait, and that she was trying to get security. The security manager was heading back to his office and would call back. Nothing! Meanwhile, we’re dealing with blistering, severe itching, and potential scarring. In addition, we’ve scrubbed, cleaned, fumigated, and even thrown out items. It’s beyond a nuisance and downright horrific. Nothing from the resort. Apparently it’s not a concern. Next call is to Board of Health. Damn shame.
