Beware of “standard” $25 per night fee.

Bethel, Connecticut

They charge you a $25 fee. This is surely designed to make the rooms look cheaper online. Whichever knucklehead decided to do this needs to get fired. It makes the hotel management appear dishonest and left a bad taste in the mouth after an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Not up to Fairmont Standards

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We were disappointed with the Fairmont Copley. The staff was fine and the rooms were well appointed, but in general the building is not up to modern standards (understanding that this is an historic property). The room was tiny, the air conditioning didn't work, and our view was of mechanical systems on the roof below. If this had been a Ramada these inadequacies would have been overlooked, but this is a Fairmont. For the price you expect something better.
