Tried to charge extra $250

Greenville, Ohio

I will never stay here again. When 1st checking in they charge you $40 extra per night deposit, if that not bad enough. After we check out they charged another $250 to my card because they said we smoked in the room. Had to drive 30 minutes back, meet with the gm before we could get a return. I have never been treated like a criminal staying at a hotel but there is a first time for everything. Absolutely ridiculous!

OK stay nothing fancy but clean

Boston

This Holiday Inn was clean but nothing fancy. The hallways seem a little mundane and dated. The rooms are comfortable but somehow different to most Holiday Inns. The front desk staff seem to have their focus on somewhere other than work and really dont seem to care about whether you are a guest or just a painting on the wall. I find that a smile or hello can go a long way. Maybe they could find work in an assembly line somewhere. Not up to IHG standards for sure. No complaints on cleanliness.
