Dirty and outdated

OMAHA, United States

The guest rooms were dirty and dark. The carpet was black from stains. You can here the noise from the hallway in your room. The public areas were run down and very unkept. This hotel has seen better days from an upkeep and housekeeping. Unfortunately this hotel needs some TLC.

Do Not Stay Here

Frodsham, United Kingdom

I have travelled lots of places and never have I been so disappointed in a hotel. The rooms are dated, wallpaper coming off walls, shower with chips in basin, only look warm water out of sink tap. More importantly ours only got cleaned twice in our seven night stay. They come in and make bed daily but that’s it. No replenishing of toiletries etc. There is no tea coffee making facilities in rooms but perhaps that is normal in USA Somebody had put half dozen glasses at the side of the lifts, no idea why but nevertheless nobody took them away. They were there four days and may still be there for all we know as we have just checked out My husband went to reception to say they had not replaced our shampoo/conditioner and they just dumped a bag full in our sink whilst we were out. He was told it is not company policy to clean rooms daily!! The location of hotel is not great. You really need to stay in the middle of the strip and then you can go out of your hotel and turn right for a couple of miles and another day turn left. Being one end of strip means you are seeing same bits all the time before you are fed up of walking and turn round On our last day we had to check out at 11am but didn’t leave for airport till 6pm. We walked for a while but weather wasn’t great so went back to hotel. There is a absolutely nowhere to just sit and relax/read etc. We ended up in a sports TV area where my hubby could watch football. I nodded off. Next thing, a hotel security guard woke me saying I wasn’t allowed to sleep. I explained we were guests who had to check out of room so where else could we go, apparently nowhere. I wasn’t lying down btw, I had my head in my arm on an armrest. I was hardly a waif and stray off the street This is the biggest hotel on the strip and I don’t have one good word to say about the place. Stay elsewhere
