Luxury Skiing in New England

Andover, Massachusetts

I'm a native New Englander. Learned to ski on the east coast, and was proud of that. I've been to many resorts, big and small, so I made some assumptions when booking my trip to Stowe. What struck me was the attention to detail. It was easy to get around, there is always help when you need it (helping unload your bags and equipment, storing your boots, plenty of staff to help you quickly get on the slopes. We also took a private lesson while we were here, and the instructor was perfect for our needs (with very mixed levels in our family). The lift lines were never long. The longest line we waited in (the Gondola to the restaurant at the top of the mountain) was enclosed, so even in cold temperatures, it was not uncomfortable. The food in the restaurants was excellent. The resort is beautiful - you can't beat the view of the peaks and you sip your wine and think about your next day on the slopes. We will definitely be back. My husband is a golfer, so we may return at a different time.

Trip beyond Expectations!!!

We just left The Spruce Peak lodge and cannot wait to return! The lodge itself is stunning from the moment you drive up. ALL of the staff are so polite and genuinely focused on making you feel welcomed. Billy, the concierge, was so helpful with helping us book adventures and guiding us through must sees and must dos! Tim, at Solstice Restaurant, guided us through an amazing evening doing the 5 course Chef’s Dinner. (An absolute treat and amazing experience) The Ziplining at the Adventure center was such a thrill and we so appreciated the care and attention giving to the safety of all riders. The Spa was world class with beautiful views and amenities..I could have spent the whole day if I had the time. The lodge itself is so centrally located to everything. Park your car upon check in and you’re there. The courtyard, pool, restaurants, shops all make for an amazing resort. Take the gondola from the courtyard to the Cliff House for a special meal, take a hike or just take in the views. While our summer stay was perfect, we cannot wait to return for ski season!! Thank you to everyone at Spruce Peak!!
