Good Location for Manhattan Stay

San Antonio, Texas

Initially heard complaints about the elevator being slow and being very small. I was also warned about extremely small rooms with no windows. There weren't many elevators, I think between 1-3 (it's been a while since I stayed there, and can't remember exactly), but I never experienced long wait times or overcrowded elevators. Staff was nice, room was also quite nice, only thing that took away from the room was the brick wall view. Regardless, I would stay here again.

Very Good Staff, Very Slow and Small Elevators

Phoenix, Arizona

This was my first time staying in the city. The staff are great and very accommodating. The Breakfast Buffet is an excellent choice for breakfast. Once you add the price of the coffee and one item, you might as well get it all for a little more money, but still not cheap. Hey, this is NYC. For lunch on one of the days, we walked across the street to a hot dog vendor and had a hot-dog with onions, $4 a piece. Can't beat it. It's a very nice hotel, and nicely updated. The elevators are small and slow getting to the main lobby. Fortunately, there are 3 of them. In hotels of this age, you are bound to find issues like this. I would have liked it if they had more USB ports. I only found 1 and to plug in additional devices, we had to unplug the lamps or use bathroom space to plug it in there. Not sure if better rooms have more USB ports or more convenient outlets. The location was great for us. I love the hustle and bustle of the city and everything all lit up at night. We walked to most places like the Theater and surrounding stores and restaurants. Everything they advertise on their site I found to be true.
