Almost.

Los Angeles, California

As many who travel to NYC for biz, I'm always looking for the place I can always come back to, this was almost it. Apart from the photos not coming close to true decor, noisy, creaky bed and small personal issue with in-room coffee, it was close. Service/staff very good.

weekend getaway

Highland Park, New Jersey

We had a really pleasant stay in the Park Avenue suite. The room is huge--bigger than my first apartment. Staff is very friendly and the views from both the room and the rooftop bar/pool are fabulous. Furniture is a bit worn and the decor is a bit dated, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had an issue getting the sofabed to open (bar was stuck under the frame) but the front desk sent someone up right away to fix it. They also brought up plenty of extra linens. Saturday morning the pool lounge chairs were full by 10 am but there was seating under the overhang and at the tables. Sunday morning was a bit less crowded and we managed to get loungers--get there early if you want a spot in the sun. Save yourself some $$ and pick up a takeout breakfast from Bread & Butter across the street. Hotel is in a fabulous location, close to the 6 line and walkable to many things. My only complaint is that there was no blowdryer--never occurred to me that the hotel wouldn't have one as even your basic Red Roof in has them in the rooms.
