Midtown Manhattan

Midtown Manhattan is the most popular place to stay with Times Square, neon lights, Broadway theatres, Macy's department store and the hustle and bustle but there is so much more beyond this location. The Theatre District on Broadway is where you'll find all the great shows and musicals.

Tribeca and Soho

Soho’s independent designer stores tempt your willpower, be sure to stop off at hidden gems including the New York City Fire Museum and the Children’s Museum of the Arts. Night owls should pull up a bar stool at iconic haunts such as Fanelli’s, one of the oldest bars in New York. Tribeca is is the home to the Tribeca Film Festival, which sees world-premiere movies brought to the city.

Financial District

Head to the Skyscraper Museum to understand how vertical ambition drove buildings ever upwards. Just next door you can discover the National Museum of the American Indian before heading to the 911 Memorial Park to reflect and be inspired by eye-witness accounts. Explore Lower Manhattan’s drinking spots in Stone Street, a vibrant area filled with bars and restaurants. For quick eats, grab brunch from the abundant food trucks serving everything from Caribbean to Korean flavours. Make sure you book for the One World Observatory this is a truly amazing experience with fantastic views of the city.

Upper East and West Side

These two distinctive neighbourhoods sit either side of Central Park. On the Upper East Side, you'll find some of New York's wealthiest inhabitants as well as the fabulous Museum Mile. Shopping here is unbeatable, try Madison Avenue with designer shopping galore! The Upper West Side boast the famous Strawberry Fields dedicated to John Lennon in Central Park. You'll also find the Lincoln Center is the main attraction with the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera.

West Village and Greenwich Village

This is an exciting area of New York, Greenwich Village is home to artist, writers and musicians. Here you'll find boutique shops, one-of-a-kind restaurants and lively bars. If this is your second stay in Manhattan, this where to be to give you a completely different experience of New York. The West Village is full of brownstone houses, neighbourhood restaurants, local bars, coffee shops, boutiques and markets.

Central Park

Stroll through the park, or take one of the many tours. a carriage ride or just rent a bike and explore the park at you leisure. Visit the vintage Carousel, stop by the zoo, sip a cool drink at the Boathouse Cafe or maybe stop off for lunch at the Tavern on the Green. We love Central Park during autumn when the leaves turn to burnt oranges and vibrant yellows, and the crunch of the leaves beneath your feet.

Visit the "Top of the Rock" at the Rockefeller Center for some of the best views over the city and the only view where you'll be able to take a photograph of Empire State Building. Join a tour on the Hudson River, there are many options from dinner cruises to hop-on-hop-off cruises, this is a fantastic way to see the city from another perspective. Take to the sky in a helicopter over the city, this is an experience not be missed.

New York is mix of cultural and culinary flavours based on diversity, the foods vary from district to district. New York is a true shoppers haven, Manhattan is home to some of the best known department stores from Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and the iconic Macy's. We love Century 21, although you have to fully explore to find yourself a bargain, its certainly worth it. Take a trip out to Woodbury Common for outlet shopping, where you'll find many branded stores.
