New York City – Tours

Tours in New York City

The Big Apple, Gotham, The City So Nice They Named It Twice – New York has as many monikers as it does personalities. From the artistic, multicultural of Harlem and its soulful jazz scene, to the regal hotels and towering skyscrapers of Midtown. New York boasts some of the world’s most recognisable landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty and the art-deco Chrysler building.

Join our eight-day Great Eastern Cities tour and gaze up in awe at the enormity of this restless concrete jungle as you wander through the dazzling lights of Times Square and its world-renowned Broadway theatre district. Grab a slice of delicious pizza and head skyward to look out across the wonderous City That Never Sleeps at sunset from the soaring Empire State Building Observatory.

A mecca for the arts, New York City is host to many world-class museums, such as The Met and the Guggenheim, where you can admire works from the likes of Klimt, Picasso and Van Gogh. Visitors in December can skate on the Rockefeller Center’s iconic ice rink in the glow of the Christmas lights before relaxing in the sumptuous Rainbow Room with a glass of mulled wine. Hail a yellow taxi to Central Park and lose yourself in its splendour as you stroll by the manicured hedges and ornate water features of its Conservatory Garden.

The tour will then take you from the heart of the American Dream, to the jaw-dropping sight of Niagara Falls; and the streets of the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia before immersing you in American history at the political capital of Washington D.C.
