Oregon Holidays
Bring your sense of adventure to life on a holiday to Oregon, where there is so much to explore. In this wondrous Pacific Northwest state, the magnificent Cascade Mountains give way to mighty rivers, water glistens in lakes high up above the clouds, waves roar on untamed beaches, and even the cities are alive with the wonder of nature.
Among a land that speaks to the magnificence of the natural world, Oregon’s towns and cities sit, proudly embracing their surroundings. Visit the eccentric city of Portland and experience its infamous craft breweries, incredible coffee and Japanese gardens. Head to Astoria, a historic city at the mouth of the Columbia River, then drive south and find yourself on the rustic coastline of Cannon Beach.
Experience the 7 Wonders of Oregon
Atop the Cascade Mountains, Crater Lake sits in all its glory, its sapphire blue waters glimmering. In eastern Oregon, the reds, golds and yellows of the painted hills wait to tell you tales of history that brought them into being, and the Wallowa Mountains stand with stunning views and bountiful rivers.
In the north of the state, Mount Hood’s summit stands tall among alpine lakes and valleys filled with forests and wildflowers, while the sound of water rushing through the Columbia River Gorge carries in the wind.
To the west, Oregon is lined with one of the most breath-taking coasts, scattered with sand dunes, rock formations and wondrous sea life.
In the heart of the state, Smith Rock waits expectantly to share its world-renowned climbing, hiking and abundant nature.
Continue exploring the Pacific Northwest and venture onto neighbouring Washington State to explore its delectable wine country and impressive coast. If you want to go a little further afield, why not combine your Oregon holiday with a road trip down to San Francisco?
