Quality product

The room was nice, quite and had a great view of the beach. I wish our room hadn't been across from the elevator and ice machine. Those can create lots of noise. Because it was a Monday, it was ok. But rooms 320 & 319 are directly across from these two items.

2 hr check-in & no pool/spa/fitness room

Arrived 35 minutes after check-in (4pm) and still didn't have a room until past 6pm. Had to hang out with our kids in the lobby, and others who were waiting for rooms. When we had to use the bathroom, we were told there was no restroom to use, and we would need to walk 3 blocks down to the public restroom on the beach, that closes at sunset. One of the other families waiting had 4 kids, and diapers had to be changed on the floor of the hotel lobby. There was no indication on the hotel's website, or on Hotels.com that the pool and spa were not available due to resurfacing, and on top of that the workout room was also not available. The location is beautiful, with rooms having balconies and ocean views - that and the pool/spa were the reasons for our choosing this location. Breakfast was fine, plenty to eat. Coffee was very weak though, so I had to get that in the lobby. With check-in being so terrible, it put my entire family in a bad mood after waiting almost 2 hours for our room, plus we all had our bathing suits and never got to enjoy the pool/spa. Definitely won't reserve anything here again. Try The Inn at Nye Beach- nice, helpful, friendly staff, and does have an infinity pool available. The Elizabeth Oceanfront Hotel needs some serious customer service improvement when faced with multiple delayed check-ins, and should offer a room discount or pass to use a fitness club when the hotel pool is not available...something. Nothing was offered to us at all, and staff couldn't even give me a time estimate on when our room would be ready, when I went to the counter 2 different times to get an update.
