Fun Staycation!

Dallas

We decided to treat ourselves to a Staycation for two nights at this beautiful hotel - we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, the restaurants and being walking distance from fun things to do in the West End.

Housekeeping Needs Work

Raleigh, North Carolina

Unprofessional housekeeping. I left my room at 5 am for a meeting. When I returned around 5:30 pm, my room had not been cleaned yet. There was a housekeeping cart down the hall. I walked down the hall and asked the housekeeping lady if she was going to clean my room. She replied, "Why? Is it dirty?" Despite this incredulous response to a hotel guest, she said she would. I left for dinner and came back an hour later. Not only had she not really cleaned the room (toiletries were not replaced, no vacuuming of the room, cups were not replaced, no bottled water, etc.) she took a paper grocery bag I had on my table full of groceries that were no where near the garbage can and threw them away. So unprofessional. I suggest you fire that person for basic incompetence. I complained to the front desk and they made amends but the fact that I had to waste time dealing with this did not sit well with me. The front desk check-in and initial valet parking check-in took too long as well. This is the first and last time I will be staying at an Omni Hotel. I'm a frequent business traveler and they could not even master the basics. I would not recommend them. Stay there if you have really low expectations.
