So good !

Copenhagen, Denmark

We have just finished a fantastic 2 night stay at the ranch. Weather has been absolutely fantasticly … WARM. The staff was all very welcoming and room was excellent although a bit more light have been good. We stayed in one of the cabins which were very nice and offerede enough space for our family of four. Breakfast on the premisses are a little 'limited' but nevertheless quite good. The restaurant (dinner only) was good and offered a good variety of food at a very reasonable price. We did quite a few of the activities but had to pack them all in one day because the availability was so limited - additionally we had to split up our familiy for the same reason. All activities were great but especially the horseback riding was quite pricy. You should definitely not miss the longhorn feading in the morning.

Excellent!!!

Celina, Texas

Stayed here with the family recently and had a terrific time! I rarely give hotels a 5 star rating and this place certainly deserve it! The front desk staff is great and very patient helping us understand our activity in options during our stay. Probably the top marks goes to ranch hand Matt. This guy is amazing and goes above and beyond in customer service and was incredibly patient with both my children and also my wife who has never shot a gun. From horseback riding, to skeet shooting to rifle target practice this guy does it all... and that was just one day! One interesting facet with the stay was the fact that we were probably the only Americans there. Joining us were families from France, Denmark, Holland, and the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. It definitely made the stay better! Pro’s: very reasonable fees for both the stay as well as shooting and horseback activities Great views from the porch of the cabins Super cold A/C in the room! Very clean rooms Great infinity pool The shooting activities were terrific Trail ride was fun Rocking chairs on the porch was a nice touch Restaurant: My wife was not too excited about the restaurant but I thought it was great!!! The one thing about the restaurant is that the steaks are mesquite smoked and grilled. This is different than a typical steakhouse. Here you will have authentic real smoked in flavor with mesquite wood infusion. I thought that this makes the food even better. She just likes the typical steak with salt and pepper on top. I thought the halibut was good as well. The menu is varied and has food for everyone in the family. Only issues is that the food, especially the huge bone in ribeye for two takes about 40 min to get to you, but it is a large cut of meat. Dined there twice and we thought the service (servers) were not up to par with the service from the resort staff. They were not super excited about their work. The stay overall was amazing and as first time visitors to this resort we have already booked our next stay. Being just two hours away from the resort, I can see this place becoming our “go to” location for the family!
