Wedding stay

Chicago, Illinois

Great stay; was here for a week and they were amazing. From the Rib Room to daily housekeeping. In town for a wedding, staying for a week, they made us feel at home and welcome, as well as appreciated during the entirety of our stay.

A lovely hotel, and almost perfect

Clearwater, Florida

I stayed at the Omni Royal Orleans for a long weekend. I found it to be very clean and well-run. Everyone was helpful and accommodating and the room was well-appointed, spotlessly clean and came with a beautiful lacy balcony. I did not eat there, but they have a beautiful bar on the street level. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when you walk in, there are a set of (rather steep) stairs you must go up to get to the lobby and the elevators to the rooms. The same holds true for accessing the bar and for exiting/entering the hotel. When I was younger, this would not have mattered, but I have trouble walking now, and stairs are particularly difficult. It is for this reason, and this reason alone that I would not stay here again. They did have a lift for wheelchairs though, just outside of the bar which would make accessibility possible for those in a chair.
