Quiet in the middle of crazy.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Stayed a W French Quarter. Very nice Hotel, in the most perfect location. Walk to everything. Tatiana treated me like a king. So sweet. Rooms are nice and clean, and Hotel is right in heart of crazy, but set back to avoid the noice. LOVE this Hotel and i will be back.

If you're staying in the Quarter, this is a nice option

Bloomington, Indiana

I had business meetings at a hotel in the French Quarter. I wanted to use my Suite Night reward for 2019 here. Alas, I didn't get it up front but supposedly was upgraded to a step up room. The room was certainly large and nice, but hardly a step up, really. That said, the desk staff were certainly nice folks...at least they tried. The hotel itself is a little odd. I probably walked through the breezeway to the garage two or three times before I figured out where the office was. If there was a sign, it wasn't terribly obvious to me. The interior courtyard where I waited for my room to be ready was very nice...a relaxing space. The room was comfortable enough and quiet enough -- definitely get a room on the courtyard side versus the street side. Location was nice -- about 2 blocks off Bourbon Street -- close enough to walk everywhere but far enough that the loudness of Bourbon isn't permeating your room. It's a W Hotel, so not the cheapest -- and watching the day of arrival is huge, too. Saturday would have been $600 for the night whereas Sunday was $275ish. The decor of the W Hotels is always interesting and fun. The bed was comfortable. I'm not 100% sure I'd stay here again, but only because I'd like to explore other places in NOLA.
