New York to Hollywood Escorted Tour
Our New York to Hollywood tour promises a full spectrum look at the best the United States has to offer. Travel from the East Coast all the way through to the West Coast in just over two weeks.
Your trip commences in the bustling state of New York with New York City being your first stop. The following day, you’ll head over to Philadelphia for an educational look into America’s road to independence, followed by two nights in the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. There, you will catch sight of the White House, Arlington National Cemetery, and the U.S. Capitol Building.
Move through Gettysburg to cross the Canadian border into Niagara Falls where you’ll marvel at the majesty of the three thundering waterfalls. Walk along Table Rock for a closer view of Horseshoe Falls, the largest and most powerful of the three waterfalls, before heading back to Detroit.
Learn all about America’s automotive innovations at the Ford Rouge Factory, as well as the Henry Ford Museum. Chicago, ‘the windy city’, is your next stop. Explore the city’s highlights and then proceed to cross the Mississippi River into Sioux Falls, which is well-known for its exquisite parks and greenways.
Admire Mother Nature’s creations as you tour through Badlands National Park before viewing Mount Rushmore, constructed in 1941 in honour of the four depicted U.S. presidents. Ahead of entering the state of Wyoming and its diverse landscapes, you’ll stop for the night in Rapid City.
Yellowstone National Park affords you the opportunity to catch a glimpse of rare creatures such as the grizzly bear, the black-footed ferret, and the grey wolf. You will stop by Grand Teton National Park on your way to Utah, where a tour of its capital, Salt Lake City, awaits.
Bryce Canyon National Park and Grand Canyon National Park are also on the agenda. Viewing the Grand Canyon is undoubtedly a highlight, allowing you to gaze down at the mile-deep sinking gorges, sharp spires and, just below the rim, the gushing Colorado River.
Travel from Flagstaff to Las Vegas via Route 66. Enjoy the many thrills on offer along the Las Vegas Strip before moving through the Mojave Desert to Los Angeles. Here, you can expect a glamour-filled tour of Hollywood, the Sunset Strip and the most opulent parts of Beverly Hills before hopping aboard your return flight home.

We’ll depart New York early this morning and move on to the ‘city of brotherly love’ and the birthplace of the nation: Philadelphia. Take a photograph in front of the Liberty Bell, a strong symbol of American Independence, as you stroll past the green lawns of Independence National Historical Park. From here, you’ll pick up on your journey once again with Washington D.C., the nation’s capital, as your final stop for the day.

Day three consists of an extensive sightseeing tour, which takes you to various iconic highlights of the city, such as the White House, Lincoln Memorial, the U.S. Capitol Building, and Arlington National Cemetery, where the JFK Memorial is housed.
Your afternoon can be spent at your own leisure. Explore the museums of the Smithsonian Institute if you’re keen to delve deeper into the culture and history of the area. If you’d rather spend the time winding down and people-watching, you can’t go wrong with a slow walk along the banks of the Potomac River. You might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the famed American bald eagle or the great blue heron.

Your morning today begins with a calming drive from Washington D.C. to Gettysburg, a friendly town in Pennsylvania. Here, you will pay a visit to the Gettysburg National Military and its abundant corn fields, wheat fields and dairy park. Your tour will then take you to Buffalo, where you’ll cross the border into Canada to visit Niagara Falls – the ‘honeymoon capital of the world’.
