Lake Powell Resort

The ideal Lake Powell resort

Set close to the shore of Lake Powell, this upscale resort offers a comfortable base surrounded by the beautifully rugged Utah landscape. Look out over Lake Powell as you take a dip in one of the hotel swimming pools, enjoy a boat tour or splash out on a dinner cruise to really make the most of the scenery. The hotel also boasts its very own rugged beach for those seeking to relax plus Wayheap Marina and the Glen Canyon Dam are within easy driving distance. The ideal base for a Lake Powell holiday.

We are also now able to offer Houseboat rentals out of Lake Powell.

Imagine all the comforts of home—comfy beds, great living space, a fully appointed kitchen and a solid sound system—on your private houseboat, surrounded by Lake Powell’s breathtaking scenery. One of the best things about houseboating is that even a first-time boater can learn how to pilot a houseboat after just a short lesson, taught by expert staff. Once you’re underway, you’ll be off and exploring one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the USA - home to 96 major side canyons and nearly 2,000 miles of shoreline.

Houseboats are equipped with comfort in mind and include fully equipped kitchens, stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, pots, pans and utensils, bed linens and towels, a BBQ grill, deck chairs, and water slides.

We have two options available -

A 46 foot expedition Houseboat that sleeps up to 6 people and is available out of  both Bullfrog and Waheap Marinas in Utah and Arizona.

Alternatively we can offer A 48 foot Navigator Houseboat that sleeps up to 10 people and is available out of Waheap Marina in Arizona

Please note:
Guests will be required to pay a $15 Lake Powell park entrance fee that admits 1 single, private, non-commercial vehicle and all its passengers for 7 consecutive days.
The hotel operates a shuttle between May and September only.

Hotel ok - view is great of Lake

Raleigh, North Carolina

We stayed there mid March. We were in town for the Antelope Canyon race. Pros: good location, great views of lake, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a good price because we got race rates. Cons: outdated rooms, expensive breakfast buffet ($17) so we ate in town at a much more reasonable price, and lack of wifi in rooms. Dining: the gentleman at the Rainbow Room acted like it was an inconvenience to sit us because we did not have reservations. There were maybe 4 tables taken. We ended up eating in the Driftwood Lounge and observed that there were no more than 10 tables out of 30 plus ever filled at the Rainbow Room from 5pm to 7:30pm. I know the rate that was being charged that weekend was extremely high and for off season, it was too much for the type of rooms available. Please don't give a canned response to this review. The hotel stay was ok.

Nice, but average

Ormond Beach, Florida

We went in the off season so the room rate was reasonable, but the room was quite average and it overlooked the parking lot. The lake was nice and the staff pleasant. The ice machine in our building was out of ice so we had to go to the next building.
