Beautiful Hotel/Resort

Florida

We flew in from FL on February 18th and stayed here for 3 days. The hotel is beautiful and very cozy. I absolutely love all the ducks especially the 2 small Mallards that even got in the pool some! But we have ducks at our home in FL so we are use to them. My only suggestion (being we own 5 Large Pekin ducks) would be for the hotel clean up staff to do a better job spraying down the duck mess in certain areas around the pool (if you know what I mean). There were certain areas that never were sprayed off and the duck mess remained there the entire time we were at the resort. It is very unpleasant to see, not to mention the odor. But with that being said the service is wonderful here and the food is excellent. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful. Also thank you to the gentleman who brought the rescued Hawk to the resort, we all really enjoyed seeing him. We will for sure return!

Overpriced, beds are old, rooms are dirty....go to the Andaz instead

Austin, Texas

No worth $500 a night. We were charged $40 a day for a 'resort fee' but when you go to the pool there's no chaise lounge chairs available....not unless you want to pay for a 'reserved area'. Give me a break, you're charging us full boat, a resort fee, then you're squeezing us for another fee to sit at the pool when the entire 'reserved area' was empty. Stay away...this place sucks.
