Itinerary Breakdown

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation in Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River and Victoria Falls form the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Falls are situated in the Mosi-ao-Tunya National Park which is 23 square kilometres of riverine jungle, ilala palms, ferns, figs, liana vines and mahogany trees. The Falls occur where the powerful Zambezi River plunges down a series of basalt gorges. They cover a width of 1708 metres with a fall of over 100 metres into a deep gorge below.

After check in at your hotel or lodge, you will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy a light lunch or laze around the pool. In the late afternoon you will be collected for your transfer to the waiting cruise boat for your sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. Light finger snacks, soft drinks and local beer/wine will be served on board. Return to your hotel after the sun has set.

After breakfast, you will be collected at approximately 8:00am for a guided tour of the Falls - one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Walk through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the largest falling sheet of water in the world, Livingstone's statue and a wide variety of birds and plants as well as the Falls resident baboons.

Enjoy breakfast this morning at your hotel, today is at leisure, you may decide to relax around the hotel, take a local excursion or return at Victoria Falls for more activities (paid for locally).

After an early breakfast, you will be collected and transferred to Victoria Falls airport for your connecting flight to the Mana Pools departing at 08:00am. The flight to the Mana Pools operates on a fixed routing and will service Hwange first (45 minutes) before heading to Kariba (1 hour 45 minutes), and then finally onto Mana Pools (45 minutes).

 On arrival at Mana Pools, you will be met by a representative from your camp and transferred in a 4x4 vehicle to camp. A late brunch/lunch will be served before spending some time to relax. High tea will be served, followed by your first opportunity to go out on a game drive in the Mana Pools National Park.

 Return to camp as the sun is setting in time to freshen up for dinner

After an early morning wake up call, enjoy a light breakfast before going out on a morning game drive. Return back to the lodge in time for brunch, after which you will have an opportunity to relax and enjoy the unspoilt sights and sounds around the camps waterhole.
Afternoon is at leisure where you can enjoy a dip in the lodge's splash pool which overlooks the Kanga Pan, where abundant game can be viewed. High tea is served in the afternoon, followed by an opportunity to go out on a game drive. Return back to camp where you will have an opportunity to freshen up and have pre-dinner drinks.

After an early wake up call, enjoy breakfast before being transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport.
